IT SUPPORT
SPECIALIST - OVERVIEW
We need an exceptional and passionate IT Support Specialist to join our
IT team based out of our London HQ in Hammersmith. If you have a genuine desire to be

Specialist for our Generator Head Office, .

NUTS AND BOLTS OF THE JOB
Core IT Support & Service Desk
- Respond
to user service requests, problem troubleshooting and resolution
- Support
PC hardware components, desktop operating system, server operating system
and application software
- Support
end-users as part of the business IT Service Desk
- Perform
minor repairs to equipment and arrange for other servicing needs
- Identify
and report system issues to vendors. Monitor and test resolution of those
issues sent to vendors
- Monitor
antivirus software and updates and repair computers infected with spyware,
adware and/or viruses
- Maintain
open communication and positive working relationship with staff
System Administration & Security
- Provide
technical support (AD, O365, GPO etc) for basic network troubleshooting
and escalation to Infrastructure
- Manage
user account lifecycle process (creation/amend/deletion)
- Monitor
backup systems and procedures to ensure data security
Documentation & Training
- Record
issues, activities, solutions and other responses to request for service
- Assist
in maintaining inventory records and documentation for equipment
- Perform
basic administrative support duties and documentation as required
- Contribute
to Generator's technical documentation and participate in policy,
procedure, and standards development and administration
- Develop
and provide user training for basic hardware and software use
Projects & Collaboration
- Participate
in IT projects and system improvements
- Collaborate
with different departments on technology initiatives
- Support
infrastructure upgrades and implementations
- Contribute
to cross-functional teams and business improvement projects
- Get
involved in vendor evaluations and technology assessments
- Perform
other duties/projects as assigned

Technical
Requirements
- Proficiency with Windows environments, Active Directory, and Office 365
- Understanding of basic networking principles and troubleshooting
- Experience with ITIL or similar service management frameworks
(desirable)
Power Platform Skills
(Highly Desirable)
- Proven experience with Microsoft Power Automate (minimum 1-2 years
preferred)
- Experience in workflow automation and business process improvement
- Demonstrated ability to translate business requirements into technical
solutions
- Experience with Microsoft Power Platform ecosystem (Power Apps, Power
BI, SharePoint)
Additional
Preferences
- Fluent in written and spoken English; additional language skills would
be advantageous
YOUR
