As a Senior Procurement Business Partner, you will support our London-based operations team in managing our international procurement strategy. This will require liaising with Procurement Leads and CFOs in each of our markets. You will be responsible for enhancing operational efficiency through the design, implementation, and monitoring of best practice processes, technology, reporting and governance across the procurement function.

International travel may be required in this role as part of special projects.

You’ll be responsible for:

  • Partnering with country teams to drive operational efficiency projects. Example: Cost Improvement, Working Capital Improvement, Process Optimization etc.
  • Help with driving digital transformation projects. Example: Global spend analysis project.
  • Modeling the financial impact of offers during global tender negotiations (multi-product, multi-market, multi-year).
  • Managing volume forecasts and ad hoc price benchmarking between markets.
  • Partnering with operations to evaluate the total cost of ownership of machines, considering inputs of labor, failure rates, and types of consumables allowed.
  • Partnering with operations to evaluate the financial impact of protocol changes, such as in-sourcing.
  • Assisting the procurement teams with strategic planning, category management, and risk management and promoting awareness of the procurement policy.
  • Special operations projects to grow in the role as interest and capacity dictate.

Your profile:

  • 4+ years’ experience working with large scale organizations with a global footprint.
  • Experience driving procurement strategy projects in industry or consulting environment is required.
  • Knowledge and understanding of Source to Pay processes and technology (e.g. Spend Analytics, eSourcing etc.).
  • Strong data analysis and reporting skills.
  • Analytical skills: Create detailed models in Excel; validate the output and articulate key sensitivities/assumptions.
  • Interpersonal and leadership skills: build credibility as a “peer” across all levels, manage stakeholders at all levels.
  • Problem solving skills: structure ambiguous problems, think creatively, identify logical inconsistencies and challenge the assumptions of others.
  • Project management skills: prioritize and push forward multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Communication skills: synthesize and convey findings to senior management.
