Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities 

The Senior Account Manager, Ad Operations will facilitate and complete tasks involved with ad campaign management; includes setup & trafficking, Q&A & troubleshooting, monitoring performance & delivery, reporting & analytics, optimisation, billing & budgeting, strategic planning, etc.  

  • Implement, monitor, and optimise ad campaigns across display, video, and app  
  • Own the setup and management of on-site video, display, and custom ad campaigns across all platforms  
  • Provide end-to-end support for trafficking and QA creative testing 
  • Lead DSP/SSP technical onboarding, including pre-launch testing, documentation, and ongoing troubleshooting for publisher integrations and 3rd-party tag implementation  
  • Forecast inventory availability and flag potential delivery risks early to ensure smooth execution.  
  • Troubleshoot technical issues and provide actionable solutions  
  • Work collaboratively to ensure campaigns are launched effectively and perform against KPIs  
  • Proactively identify delivery risks or underperformance, provide solutions and resolve concerns  
  • Provide internal and external technical support for campaign related issues, site projects, platforms, etc.  
  • Conduct regular discrepancy checks & troubleshoot any technical issues  
  • Deliver campaign reports, associated insights and day-to-day metric-based reporting to clients  
  • Work closely with the Senior Account Manager and Account Manager on current campaigns and share data for future campaigns setup 
  • Support billing reconciliation and tracking discrepancies where   
  • Understand, help evolve and document internal operational processes and recommend improvements  
  • Contribute to the selection and implementation of future ad technology and workflow tools.  
  • Remain flexible and available to support ad operations across all regions  

Experience and Skills 

  • Strong understanding of ad operations workflows and technologies  
  • Significant experience in ad operations technical role, including trafficking, site tagging, audience management and MCM management  
  • Meticulous and analytical nature; metric driven behavior with a high degree of organization. 
  • Hands-on experience in ad operations (video & display), with a strong understanding of campaign workflows, ad trafficking, and execution across multiple channels 
  • Demonstrated experience with Google Ad Manager 360 (GAM), IAS, SSPs, and DSPs (e.g., The Trade Desk, DV360) 
  • Experience working with various ad technologies such as DMP, ad verification, OMS, programmatic partners  
  • Ability to identify opportunities to optimize existing activations, managing creative trafficking, integrating cross platform reporting, and suggesting test and learns for your specified markets 
  • Strong grasp of ad specifications, tagging, and the execution of both direct and programmatic delivery 
  • Working knowledge of SQL, basic HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and GAM custom templates. 
  • Familiarity with GAM first-party and third-party targeting 
  • Solid knowledge of advertising industry standards such as VAST/VPAID, RTB, GDPR, Invalid Traffic (IVT), and Brand Safety. 
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills and a sharp attention to detail.  
  • Familiarity with debugging techniques and the ability to use web develop tools to network trace errors  
  • Proficient in Excel, Google Sheets, Google Analytics and various reporting tools.  
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to follow a style-guide when producing PowerPoint documents 
  • Organized, proactive and able to meet fixed deadlines while managing multiple client demands 
  • The ability to effectively communicate and provide quick and accurate feedback and solutions to stakeholders at all levels 
  • A customer or client-focused approach 
  • Strong initiative with a willingness to be flexible in their approach to achieve desired outcomes 
  • An interest in sport 

Working Conditions:

  • This is a full-time permanent contract.
  • This role is based out of IMG Offices, Chiswick Park London.
