Job Description:

About the Role & Team

We are looking for a passionate and proactive Publicist to join our Studios UK Publicity team, supporting the delivery of impactful, industry-leading campaigns across both theatrical releases and Disney+ Studios branded content.

In this role, you will work closely with the Publicity Managers to help implement high-profile publicity campaigns across a diverse slate of titles, while also taking ownership of smaller campaigns end-to-end. You will play a key role in connecting teams across The Walt Disney Company — from Studios and Media Networks to Digital Marketing and Influencer teams — ensuring campaigns are cohesive, effective and audience-focused.

As part of a collaborative and fast-paced team, you’ll contribute to campaigns that span press, talent activity, influencer partnerships and major live events, while building strong relationships across the media landscape and internal stakeholders.

This role will be based in our London Hammersmith office, 4 days a week, with either a Monday or Friday working from home.

You’ll join a team grounded in our Disney values — acting with Integrity, welcoming everyone through Inclusion, embracing boundless Creativity, working together through Collaboration and caring deeply for our Community. These values shape how we work and how we support one another every day.

What You Will Do

  • Support Publicity Management in developing and implementing best-in-class communication campaigns in line with Studios strategy across theatrical and Disney+ content
  • Take ownership of publicity implementation for smaller titles, while supporting larger priority campaigns across the brand slate
  • Coordinate closely with US (Burbank) PR leads and Awards teams on awards campaigns, screenings, press schedules and key promotional activity
  • Manage logistics for press activity including screenings, set visits, talent schedules, guest management and event operations
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders across Studios, Media Networks and wider TWDC business units
  • Act as a point of contact for media enquiries, supporting day-to-day press office activity including pitching stories and managing requests
  • Ensure all PR materials are localised, accurate and distributed effectively via platforms such as image.net and DMS
  • Develop and maintain publicity databases and support planning and coordination across campaigns
  • Collaborate with Digital Marketing, Social and Influencer teams to support influencer engagement, identifying key voices and delivering meaningful activations
  • Support the delivery of major premieres and events, as well as smaller press and influencer activations, ensuring a strong guest experience and measurable impact
  • Monitor media trends, competitor activity and emerging conversations, sharing insights to inform campaign strategy
  • Provide support across wider publicity team initiatives, projects and events as required

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • Entry-level experience within film, entertainment or creative communications/publicity environments
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
  • Excellent communication skills, with confidence engaging with print, broadcast and digital media
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners
  • Experience supporting events, screenings or publicity activations
  • Strong attention to detail, with experience managing assets, materials and campaign outputs
  • Ability to work collaboratively across teams and contribute within an integrated, matrixed environment
  • Proactive and solutions-oriented approach, with a willingness to take ownership and drive activity forward
  • Strong understanding of the evolving media landscape and ability to identify relevant trends and opportunities
  • A passion for film and storytelling, with a genuine enthusiasm for the Studios business

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience within theatrical publicity or film campaigns
  • Exposure to awards campaign coordination or talent-led activity
  • Experience working with influencer or social media activations

The Perks

  • 25 days annual leave
  • Private medical insurance & dental care
  • Free Park Entry: You will have the opportunity to enter any of our parks with your family and friends for free
  • Disney Discounts: you are entitled to discounts on designated Disney products, resort F&B and ticketing
  • Excellent parental and guardian leave
  • Employee Resource Groups – WOMEN @ Disney, Disney Mosaic, Disney PRIDE, ENABLED and TRUST
