The role
This role plans and delivers the CRM & VOD media activity (emails, push notifications, in-app messages, and targeted promo trailers) to support campaign priorities as well as channel needs, in order to drive marketing outcomes.
Main responsibilities
- Work alongside other marketing, media and creative roles to deliver a marketing plan which drives desired outcomes.
- Use specialist media expertise and knowledge to enhance the strategic plans provided by the media strategists.
- Act as the CRM & VOD expert in or outside of agile campaign pods, offering advice, learnings and ideas to drive performance and innovation.
- Setup and activate CRM & VOD promo campaigns accurately on respective systems, ensuring the right message reaches the right audience at the right time.
- Execute and optimise a range of CRM channels: email, push and in-app notifications, targeted trailers on our video on demand platform (ITVX).
- Work closely with creatives to ensure activity is high quality, on brand, compliant, appropriate and performant for each media channel.
- Employ structured testing techniques to deliver continuous improvement in campaign metrics.
- Monitor performance and feedback learnings back to the wider CRM team to paint an ongoing picture of what activity is performing best, to drive optimisation across all CRM activity.
Skills you’ll need (minimum criteria)
- Experienced in planning, activating and optimising targeted digital campaigns in a range of formats, working towards clear outcomes and KPIs
- Experience in CRM (Braze preferred) and/or media planning systems
- Strong at understanding and interpreting data to aid decision making
- Organised and able to work under pressure with high attention to detail
- Fluency in the Google Workspace suite (Sheets, Docs, Slides) to plan campaign activity and report on performance data
- Experience working in a fast paced and dynamic environment
- Flexible and able to adapt to changing circumstances
- A can-do, collaborative, get-things-done approach
- A genuine passion for ITV programmes, film and TV

- Strong communication skills with the ability to foster stakeholder relationships across a range of business areas.
- Comfortable presenting in meetings and giving performance updates to relevant stakeholders
- Strong understanding of data compliance requirements in electronic communications
- A marketing related qualification is desirable.
