A well-resourced school in Hammersmith is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated German Teacher to join their supportive Modern Foreign Languages (MFL) department. This is a fantastic opportunity for a German Teacher to inspire a love of the German language and culture in students across Key Stages 3 and 4. Location: Hammersmith Role: German Teacher (Full-Time, Permanent)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and challenging German lessons across Key Stages 3-4.
  • Inspire students to develop a deep understanding and appreciation for the German language and culture.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to share best practice and enhance the German curriculum within the MFL department.
  • Contribute to the assessment and monitoring of student progress in German.
  • Potentially contribute to extracurricular German clubs or cultural exchanges, enriching the learning of German.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent with a specialism in German.
  • Degree in German or a related field.
  • Proven experience teaching German at secondary level (ECTs welcome to apply).
  • Strong subject knowledge and a passion for the German language and culture.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire students in German.
  • A commitment to fostering effective communication skills in German.
