Location: Hammersmith Role: Computer Science Teacher (Full-Time, Permanent)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and challenging Computer Science lessons across Key Stages 3-4 (and potentially KS5).
  • Inspire students to develop a deep understanding of programming, algorithms, and computational thinking within Computer Science.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to share best practice and enhance the Computer Science curriculum.
  • Contribute to the assessment and monitoring of student progress in Computer Science.
  • Potentially contribute to extracurricular Computer Science clubs or competitions.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • Proven experience teaching Computer Science at secondary level (ECTs welcome to apply).
  • Strong knowledge of programming languages and computational thinking principles within Computer Science.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to make Computer Science accessible and engaging.
