About the Role
We are seeking an experienced property management professional to lead one of our Property Management divisions. As Divisional Head, you will provide hands-on leadership, oversee day-to-day operations, manage senior and mid-level managers, and ensure the team delivers excellent service. You will serve as the key point of escalation for client and stakeholder issues, driving compliance, operational efficiency, and growth across the division.
Key Responsibilities:
- Line manage Team Leaders and provide broader oversight for Senior Property Managers, Property Managers, Associate Managers, and Assistant Managers.
- Oversee the divisionβs daily operations, ensuring smooth processes and regulatory compliance.
- Act is the decision-maker for escalations and complex client or operational issues.
- Mentor and develop team members through performance reviews and training initiatives.
- Build and maintain strong client and stakeholder relationships, attending meetings and resolving issues as necessary.
- Allocate resources effectively, monitor capacity, and coordinate with HR on performance and resourcing needs.
- Implement policies and procedures that mitigate risk and promote best practice.
- Identify growth opportunities, drive client retention, and ensure additional work outside management agreements is appropriately charged
- Collate and review monthly reports from Team Leaders, track KPIs, and implement improvements.
Requirements:
- Extensive UK property management experience across residential and commercial portfolios.
- Proven leadership and team management experience, ideally overseeing a multi-level team.
- Relevant professional qualifications in property management or related disciplines.
- Strong knowledge of property legislation, compliance, and risk management.
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain client relationships and resolve escalations effectively.
- Excellent organisation, communication, and mentoring skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and property management software, with strong reporting and analytical capabilities.
- Ability to access the Fulham office and central London sites easily for team and client meetings.
