The role

The Director, Brand Integrations, is a high-impact, outward-facing role within ITV Studios’ Global Partnerships team. The role supports the VP Brand Integrations in driving commercial growth across global partnerships, digital platforms, and brand-funded content. 

 

With strong commercial instinct, digital expertise, and brand guardianship experience, the Director of Brand Integrations will play a key role in proactively identifying, shaping, and delivering scalable brand integration opportunities across owned and third-party platforms, globally. This includes leading commercial thinking around digital platforms such as show apps and YouTube, live experience sponsorships, and contributing to the development and sale of large-scale, global partnership packages. 

 

The role reports to the VP Brand Integrations and works closely with cross-functional teams across Zoo55, Metavision, Creative Services, Business Affairs, Legal, Brand Operations, as well as international markets to ensure opportunities are commercially robust, rights-compliant, and operationally deliverable.

 

Main responsibilities

 

NEW BUSINESS & REVENUE GROWTH

 

  • Support the VP Brand Integrations in driving proactive new business opportunities beyond inbound briefs. 
  • Contribute to the development, packaging, and sale of global partnership propositions for our platinum titles.
  • Identify opportunities for scale, upsell, and long-term revenue growth across existing and new partners. 
  • Manage your opportunity pipeline, tracking progress and reporting against commercial targets. 

 

DIGITAL & PLATFORM LEADERSHIP 

 

  • Lead development of new Platinum IP Apps and monetisation models. 
  • Lead brand-funded/integrated podcast initiative. 
  • Shape and monetise opportunities across the wider digital ecosystem in collaboration with ITV Studios dedicated digital content arm, Zoo 55, such as FAST, YouTube and Roblox integrations.
  • Ensure digital platforms are embedded into broader, scalable partnership propositions rather than sold in isolation. 

 

STRATEGIC AND OPERATIONAL OWNERSHIP 

 

  • Champion innovation in branded content formats, working cross-functionally to unlock new storytelling models and revenue streams. 
  • Work with format sales teams to extend and protect brand integration strategies across all platforms 
  • Own the operational delivery of new brand-let propositions and content offerings 

 

TEAM COLLABORATION & RELATIONSHIP BUILDING 

 

  • Build trusted partnerships with global media agencies and major advertisers. 
  • Collaborate with ITV Studios labels and content teams to deliver best-in-class integrated campaigns. 
  • Partner collaboratively with other members of the Brand Licensing team where applicable, from experiences, to retail, to gaming.
  • Ensure brand integrations align with global brand guidelines and any existing licensing restrictions

 

GOVERNANCE, REPORTING & APPROVAL 

 

  • Oversee approval and delivery of brand integrations; coordinating with legal, rights and production teams. 
  • Define and report on campaign KPIs. 
  • Collaborate with Brand Operations to develop a robust reporting framework and maintain a library of integration case studies and pitches to help sell to brands and agencies. 
  • Monitor integration KPIs, global trends, and best practice, using insights to inform future strategy and optimise performance, working closely with the Brand Operations Team to collate and share information with stakeholders

 

Skills you’ll need (minimum criteria)

 

  • Strong experience across brand partnerships and integrations, particularly in digital platforms, including branded Apps / YouTube and live experiences. 
  • Proven senior-level experience in brand integration, marketing, or partnerships within the entertainment industry.
  • Proven international or global experience within media, entertainment, or brand partnerships. 
  • Experience working with major media agencies and global brands. 
  • Established agency relationships, or the ability to build trusted relationships quickly. 
  • Commercially ambitious, proactive, and confident operating at senior level. 
  • Creative, out-of-the-box thinking to identify new opportunities. 
  • Strong negotiation, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.

  • Deep understanding of broadcast content strategies, tape distribution, product placement, and sponsor-funded programming. 
  • Proven network of media agency relationships and portfolio of successful partnerships. 
  • Strong negotiation and client-facing communication skills, particularly with media buyers and brand directors. 
  • Track record of managing cross-border partnerships and broadcast licensing relationships.
  • Highly commercial, data-informed, and insight-led approach to opportunity development. 
  • Strong leadership, project management, and interpersonal skills. 
  • Detail-oriented with an ability to manage multiple stakeholders across territories.
