A Leading Education Recruitment Agency is partnering with primary, secondary, and specialist schools in Chiswick to recruit Behaviour Mentors who can provide calm, structured support to pupils with behavioural, emotional, and social needs.

The Role

As a Behaviour Mentor in Chiswick, you will support pupils who struggle with emotional regulation, boundaries, and engagement with learning. Many pupils benefit from predictable routines, clear expectations, and positive adult relationships.

You may support pupils in the classroom, within withdrawal spaces, or through targeted intervention sessions. Your work will focus on helping pupils develop self-regulation skills and positive behaviour patterns.

Key Duties

• Provide behaviour and emotional support
• Support pupils with regulation strategies
• Reinforce school expectations and routines
• De-escalate challenging situations calmly
• Build positive, trusting relationships with pupils
• Support reintegration into lessons
• Record behaviour incidents and monitor progress

• Experience in behaviour support, youth work, or care
• Patient, resilient, and emotionally intelligent
• Confident supporting challenging behaviour
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
