The Weddings & Events Sales Manager is a mid-level position within our sales team, responsible for driving sales across a high-profile, multi-faceted venue. (Fulham Palace)
This role focuses on managing the full sales cycle, from enquiry and proposal stages, through to contracting and forward planning of often complex and bespoke weddings and events. It offers a unique opportunity to gain extensive experience in a weddings-focused setting at a Grade I listed building, also recognised as a Grade II in the Register of Historic Parks & Gardens, underlining it’s exceptional architectural and historic significance.
Due to the weddings-focused nature of the venue, flexibility will be required for evening and weekend working.
Key Responsibilities
· Lead client-facing sales activity, including handling high-value and bespoke enquiries.
· Conduct detailed venue show-arounds and client meetings, presenting tailored packages and recommendations.
· Prepare comprehensive proposals and manage contracts to secure bookings efficiently.
· Take the lead on client planning meetings and be present on the day for meet & greet, and final handover to the operational events manager.
· Work closely with operations and culinary teams to ensure all event requirements are communicated clearly, enabling flawless execution on the day.
Experience & Skills
· Proven experience in event sales with the ability to manage high-value, bespoke or complex events.
· Strong client-facing, negotiation and presentation skills
· Highly organised, proactive and capable of managing multiple priorities.
· Proficiency in CRM and sales tracking systems.
