Corporate Brand Marketing protects the integrity and health of TWDC’s brands and characters by applying the highest brand standards across all LOBs.    

 

This role ensures complete comprehension & application of brand guidelines and associated policies.  The Snr Manager will be expected to engage with all EMEA LOBS and markets with a particular interaction with the ad sales and operations teams as we build video advertising within our flagship product, Disney+.  

 

This is a highly collaborative role that creates brand enhancing products, marketing, partnerships and experiences.  The Snr Manager must balance the respective LOB objectives whilst governing TWDC brand standards. It requires strong personal accountability, prioritization and organizational skills, stakeholder management, and strategic thinking as the senior manager will need to balance the protection of our brands and guests with the need to deliver successful campaigns that enable our clients to unlock the full potential of our brands and products.  

 

CBM is a solutions orientated function designed to help teams navigate the guidelines and approval processes for excellent results.  The breadth and scope demands the Snr Manager consistently acts with integrity and gravitas.   

 

The Snr Manager will support and work closely with the Director of Brand Management and represent Brand Management at Snr leadership meetings where required. This role will also help to support the Disney Character Events team & ensure all events exceed brand standards across the business. 

 

Areas of Responsibility:

  • Support the CBM Director in consultation and approvals, with a specific focus on advertising across the TWDC owned network and TWDC nutritional policy.  

Support CBM Director in the following ways: 

  • Work with the CBM Director and global CBM counterparts to create guidelines for advertising standards when necessary to go beyond legal regulations to safeguard the Disney brand, including competitive advertising.   
  • Manage an efficient (accurate and responsive) advertising and sponsorship approval process across all owned media platforms.  
  • Support in delivering brand training for all Disney+ ad-sales teams and sales houses across EMEA when , including Ad Visor system and Air Table.  
  • Be a visible and a responsive point of contact for TWDC nutrition policy implementation, regulating the food and beverage advertising against TWDC nutrition policy.  
  • Consistently evaluate the brand impact of Disney+ advertising and internal regulations.  
  • Support CBM Director with approvals of marketing materials for all Disney+ 60+ markets.   
  • Reporting and tracking of all marketing campaigns on Disney+ via Disney approved systems 
  • Keep guidelines up to date and update local market Brand Ambassadors network of any changes to policy or guidelines alongside the manager in the team, to organise quarterly update sessions.  
  • Support and be the main POC for all Studio & Disney+ Partnerships and promotions, providing solutions and accurate brand guidance.  
  • Support and be the main POC Disney Theatrical Group with third party sponsorships and creative approval for various shows   
  • Manage two direct reports; the corporate brand manager and coordinator, guiding and supporting them, including overseeing Disney Consumer Products approvals.  
  • Support the director and sometimes lead implementation of brand touchpoints as and when relevant, for example, Winnie the Pooh’s 100th anniversary  
  • Lead the continuation of the Disney Junior Cinema Club production and EMEA roll out for 2026.  
  • Approvals and application of brand guidelines on ad-hoc & established campaigns across multiple systems, and multiple LOBs, system expertise is across PAS, Air Table, Ad Visor, OPA, ELS. Approvals completed as a team are around 7000 per year.  
  • Support Brand Director in the management of the weekly Brand clinic for all LoB’s. 
  • Be able to represent CBM in brainstorms and solution workshops throughout the business but especially servicing Disney+.  
  • This role will also work closely with the character and non-character events team and manage brand initiatives when . 

This role will: 

  • Engage and advise all markets and LOB’s across EMEA 
  • Disney+ knowledge preferable 
  • Understanding of EMEA Advertising regulations / standards helpful 
  • Have excellent knowledge of identified franchise strategies and contacts 
  • Understand the brand positioning and consumer perspective from the insights team 
  • This role will also need to work closely with US counterparts and represent on global projects 
  • Work closely with the Director but will also need to work on own initiative and be prepared to consult with, present and train teams independently 
  • Represent the brand team when Director is not able to 
  • Build and maintain constructive relationships across the organisation at various levels.  
  • Navigate complex challenges, and sometimes time pressured decisions  
  • Appreciate and recognise market-specific business needs and brand challenge 

Experience and Professional Qualifications Required:

  • Knowledge of TWDC approval systems and processes preferable 
  • Established knowledge of TWDC policies and brand guidelines essential 
  • Experience in managing brand and media events  
  • Strong communicator across all levels of the business 
  • Keen and competent presenter  
  • Creative thinker 
  • Solutions orientated 
  • Minimum 5 years Senior Marketing experience  
  • Disney+ experience preferable 
  • Extra language an advantage 
  • EMEA Travel may be necessary
