The Opportunity
In this key senior management position, you will step into a pivotal leadership function alongside two established Partners, taking direct responsibility for guiding a talented team of solicitors, paralegals, and dedicated support staff. Balancing high-level advisory work with practice expansion, you will oversee a complex caseload including sophisticated wealth structuring, cross-border estate administration, asset protection trusts, and high-value Probate matters. Key Responsibilities & Requirements

Qualifications & PQE: Qualified Solicitor (England & Wales) or FILEx with typically 10+ years’ post-qualification experience (PQE) leading a high-performing Private Client team within a respected City, West End, or top regional firm.

Technical Mastery: Exceptional expertise across all facets of private client law, including complex Wills, High-Net-Worth (HNW) Estate Administration, Lasting Powers of Attorney, Probate, Asset Protection, and Trust creation/administration.

Professional Accreditations: STEP Qualification (TAPE) highly preferred, demonstrating advanced technical competence in tax planning, trust management, and wealth preservation.

Leadership & People Management: Proven track record of mentoring, developing, and supervising fee earners and support staff to foster a high-performance, collaborative working culture.

Business Development & Strategy: Demonstrated success in client acquisition, building key intermediary networks (wealth managers, accountants, IFAs), driving cross-referral initiatives, and enhancing practice profitability.

Competitive Remuneration: £100,000 – £130,000 base salary per annum (commensurate with PQE, client track record, and technical standing) plus a executive performance bonus structure.
