Are you a Psychology Graduate eager to gain meaningful experience working with young people who have special educational needs and disabilities (SEND)?

Ribbons & Reeves are looking for empathetic, driven, and academically strong Psychology Graduates to join our outstanding partner schools across Kensington & Chelsea and Hammersmith & Fulham. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain valuable hands-on experience supporting students on a 1:1 and small-group basis, while developing the skills needed for a future career in Educational Psychology, Teaching, or Child Development.

The role of a Psychology Graduate Teaching Assistant:

  • Work closely with students aged 11–18 who have a range of SEND needs, including Autism (ASC), ADHD, Speech & Language difficulties, and Social, Emotional & Mental Health (SEMH) needs.
  • Provide 1:1 and small-group interventions, helping students overcome barriers to learning and achieve their potential.
  • Support teachers in creating inclusive and engaging classroom environments.
  • Monitor student progress and contribute to personalised learning plans.
  • Collaborate with SENCOs, therapists, and support staff to ensure every child receives the care and guidance they need.

What we’re looking for:

  • A 1st Class or 2:1 degree in Psychology from a leading UK university.
  • A genuine interest in working with young people and supporting those with additional learning needs.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with empathy and patience at the core of your approach.
  • Any experience working with children or vulnerable individuals — whether through tutoring, youth work, mentoring, or volunteering — is highly valued.
  • A long-term commitment and a passion for pursuing a career in education or psychology.

Why join Ribbons & Reeves?

  • Gain exceptional experience within supportive school environments that prioritise inclusive education.
  • Work within a network of schools affiliated with leading teacher training and educational psychology pathways.
  • Receive tailored guidance and career advice from London’s leading education recruiters.
  • Be part of a team that genuinely values your professional growth and long-term development.

If you’re a dedicated Psychology Graduate ready to make a real difference to the lives of young people with additional needs, this role is the perfect first step in your career.
