Garment Technologist Admin Assistant

Location: Chiswick, West London (Hybrid working after probation)
Start date: ASAP
Hours: Full time
Reports to: Senior Garment Technologist

About the role

We are seeking an organised and detail-focused Garment Technologist Admin Assistant to join our Technical Team.

Working across multi-category products for both Chelsea Peers and the wider Renfold brand portfolio, you will provide essential support to the Technical and Product teams.

Key responsibilities

Fit Sessions & Sample Management

  • Coordinate fit sample and fit session processes, attend sessions, take notes, capture photos, and ensure files are correctly stored.
  • Measure and check samples to ensure they meet product specifications.

Technical Administration

  • Assist the Technical Team in creating development specifications.
  • Manage technical documentation and test reports, ensuring accurate and accessible records.
  • Support the Senior and Junior Garment Technologists with daily administrative tasks.
  • Own administrative tasks related to sustainability transaction certificates and audit paperwork

Supplier Communication

  • Liaise with overseas suppliers and factories to maintain smooth workflows and resolve queries.

General Support

  • Provide administrative support to the wider product team as required.
  • Help maintain the critical path, ensuring all key dates are met.
  • Assist in managing multiple priorities to support timely product launches.

Skills & experience

  • Degree in Fashion, Textiles, or a related field.
  • Excellent organisational skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Knowledge of garment production processes and technical terminology is advantageous but not essential.
  • Experience in product compliance and sustainability is beneficial.

The practical details

  • You must have the legal right to work in the UK.
  • This role is based in Chiswick, West London. 5 days in the office during probation, then hybrid working thereafter.
