  • Chivas Brothers, the largest brand company in the Group, responsible for the production and management of our award-winning Scotch whisky portfolio
  • Pernod Ricard Global Travel Retail, the global and EMEA home of the group’s duty free, air travel and cruises business.

Your new team

This position sits in our Pernod Ricard UK (PRUK) business. Our diverse population of 300+ passionate employees have been creating conviviality since 2001, bringing our premium brands and unforgettable experiences to the UK. As the world’s 2nd largest spirits market, the UK is a key location for our company. Since 2017 PRUK has also hosted The Gin Hub, the team responsible for managing the Group’s unrivalled portfolio of ‘Premium+’ International Gins globally.

At PRUK, we have a culture that blends performance and conviviality: we are recognised as an open and diverse business with a firm commitment to our employees’ wellness, inclusion and safety and to making a positive impact on our industry and environment.

Our Vision as a marketing department is to be the engine of our business, fundamentally setting and driving the strategy that will enable PRUK to achieve its goal of increasing market share.   This vision is underpinned by a commitment to understanding our consumers and their moments of conviviality, to creativity and entrepreneurship, all with solid commercial foundations.

As a member of the marketing department, you will work cross functionally to ensure our brands are present and play an active role in the moments that matter in consumers lives.  You will have a commitment to efficiency and ROI, to learning and improving and sharing best practice across the department to enable us to accelerate our performance.

You will have a clear view of the big initiatives that will accelerate growth for our business, from A&P investment, performance marketing & technology diversification and you will focus on delivering these with impact so we can achieve our goal.

Your unique contribution

You will play a key role in driving media efficiency & effectiveness across our portfolio, spanning data, activation, and strategic support. This role blends hands-on campaign delivery with forward-thinking, ensuring we maximise performance, efficiency, and impact across our portfolio of brands.

This role will have 3 main areas of responsibility:

1. Data & Measurement Excellence

Champion best-in-class data practices to power smarter decision-making and campaign effectiveness.

  • Own data collection across our global media dashboard (DMC), ensuring accurate, timely, and scalable integration (API-led with manual inputs where required).
  • Drive data governance and “brilliant basics” across all campaigns, including taxonomy, UTMs, pixels, and floodlights.
  • Partner with Performance teams to enable effective use of first-party data (1PD) in campaign activation.
  • Leverage and explore AI tools and automation to enhance reporting, insight generation, and operational efficiency.
  • Analyse campaign performance to identify insights, improve outcomes, and drive learnings across our portfolio of brands.
  • Deliver campaign case studies to global teams and agencies.

2. Activation & Campaign Excellence

Deliver high-performing campaigns through hands-on activation, optimisation, and continuous improvement.

  • Execute and optimise in-house media buying, with a focus on paid search and social lead generation – across Meta and DV360.
  • Support enterprise and smaller brands with planning and activation where agency support is limited.
  • Collaborate closely with brand teams, agencies, and partners to ensure seamless campaign delivery.

3. Strategy & Partnerships Support

Support the delivery of effective media strategy through strong collaboration and partner management.

  • Build and manage relationships with global and local media partners (e.g. Google, Meta, programmatic platforms) to support campaign delivery and performance.
  • Assist in activating joint business plans (JBPs) and identifying opportunities to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Act as a key link between internal teams (brand, performance, data) and external partners to ensure alignment and smooth execution.
  • Contribute to identifying new opportunities, channels, and innovations to keep media activity competitive and relevant.

Who you’ll be working with

Internally, you’ll be working with Brand Teams, the wider Media & Culture team, the Performance Team and the Global Media Community.

Externally, your key contacts will be our media agency Carat, media partners like Meta, Google & Pinterest.

Your blend of talent

This position could be right for you if you:

  • Are a subject matter expert in digital media; with expertise in programmatic, paid search and paid social.
  • Are able to demonstrate either agency or client-side experience within media.
  • Have a good understanding of how people are consuming media, key platforms, and trends & shifts.
  • Specifically, you must be able to demonstrate their ability to manage workloads across varying projects/brands due to our extensive portfolio.
  • Are a team player who feels comfortable collaborating with individuals with varying degrees of media knowledge and seniority.
  • Are able to work closely with our media agency to evaluate media plans, collate feedback and put forward recommendations. And can identify core KPI’s and performance against these and find ways of optimising our campaigns.

Similarly, if you would like to discuss opportunities for flexible working or require accommodations or support to complete our application process, please let us know.
