We are looking for an experienced Account Manager, Golf to support with the end-to-end relationship management between IMG and key golf rightsholder partners.
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities
Account Management, Reporting and Contracts Management
- Set up and attend regular meetings with key golf clients to discuss workstreams and update them on activities related to the partnership, capture action points from these meetings and ensure effective follow-up.
- Manage an internal and external project/action tracker, gathering regular updates for the IMG key workstream leads and communicating appropriately.
- Be accountable for ensuring projects/actions are clearly defined, assigned to team members, completed and reviewed.
- Show potential to take on broader account responsibilities, with a view to directing the account in the medium term.
- Manage internal meetings at IMG to ensure stakeholders across each golf account are constantly joined-up.
- Develop and aggregate key markets information for sharing internally and with the client.
- Serve as an additional liaison between IMG Media teams and legal department to support contract coordination for the account.
- Review draft agreements and coordinate with legal team on comments/changes/etc.; work with all parties (clients and customer) on execution.
- Communicate regularly with IMG finance and IMG execs to ensure projections, invoices and receivables are all up to date.
- Work alongside workstream leads and other stakeholders to identify and develop new opportunities for IMG’s golf clients.

Strategic Planning & Project Management
- Manage the Strategic Planning needs of the account, collaborating with internal and external workstream leads and internal strategy team to ensure 12 – 18 month rolling strategic plan is up-to-date and communicated across all workstreams.
- End-to-end management of IMG and golf client projects. Serve as day-to-day contact, managing the relationship between IMG departments and key external stakeholders
- Organise workshops and meetings both internally and with key golf clients to ensure workstreams are delivered consistently to a high standard.

- Previous experience of managing high-level international client(s)
- A strong understanding of IMG’s capabilities.
- An ability to gain a detailed understanding of client business requirements.
- An understanding of TV production and its technical requirements
- Knowledge of technical deliveries and rates – i.e. ability to interpret rate cards for distribution of feeds, different delivery options outside satellite etc.
- Understanding of the new media customer base in the online and social space.
- A developed understanding of contemporary media practises and demands.
- An understanding of IMG priorities
- Strong knowledge of systems, business practises, resources and personnel within IMG Media
- An overview of the global media business, key players and key movements.
- Excellent communications skills, both written and verbal. Should be an articulate and compelling communicator, able to draft clear, concise and grammatically sound written communications and to present confidently.
- Competent using Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and the Internet.
- Able to multi-task and highly organised with the ability to prioritise effectively.
- Able to build strong working relationships with key internal contacts, e.g. lawyers, accountants and sales executives.
- Able to exercise sound judgement, suggest logical solutions to problems and make decisions.
- Numerate and analytical in order to understand and interpret data.
- Positive personality and approach to work.
- Able to respond and adapt to change.
- Self-sufficient and pro-active team player.
- A strong understanding of, and ability to implement, strategy to facilitate successful multi-year project delivery.

- This is a permanent position.
- This role will be based at Chiswick Park, with some flexibility on remote working as appropriate
- Working hours are 9:00 – 17:00, Monday to Friday
- May be to attend (and travel to) locations, including other IMG buildings and meetings
- Unsocial hours may be , as dictated by the demands of the business schedule
