We are currently recruiting a Kitchen Porter to join our team at WLC – Hammersmith & Fulham College, Gliddon Road, Hammersmith W14 9BL

What you'll be doing

⦁    Maintain the cleanliness of the dishwash and surrounding areas within the site.

⦁    Carrying out all washing up duties for a busy kitchen and restaurant 

⦁    Cleaning and sterilizing counter tops, walls and sinks

⦁    Ensuring the dining room tables are cleared and cleaned daily

⦁    Assisting with basic food preparation if required

⦁    Cleaning the dining areas

⦁    Assisting with daily and weekly deep cleans

⦁    Assisting with deliveries and organizing them in the correct storage areas

⦁    Removing waste from waste containers and disposing of them in the correct external bins

⦁    Providing assistance to front of house and kitchen staff as required

Experience

⦁    Previous experience in a catering outlet is desirable but not essential as on the job training will be provided!

⦁    Customer focused and a good communicator

⦁    Excellent team player
