We are currently recruiting a Kitchen Assistant to join our team at WLC – Hammersmith & Fulham College, Gliddon Road, Hammersmith, W14 9BL

What you'll be doing

• ⦁    Assisting Chefs in basic preparation and cooking of food, using equipment such as deep fat fryers
  
  ⦁    Assisting in deli prep and prep grab and go items
  
  ⦁    Customer service, using the till and cleaning of counters as and when required
  
  ⦁    Maintain the cleanliness of the dishwash and surrounding areas within the site.
  
  ⦁    Carrying out all washing up duties for a busy kitchen and restaurant 
  
  ⦁    Cleaning and sterilizing counter tops, walls and sinks
  
  ⦁    Assisting with daily and weekly deep cleans
  
  ⦁    Assisting with deliveries and organizing them in the correct storage areas
  
  ⦁    Removing waste from waste containers and disposing of them in the correct external bins

Experience

⦁    Previous experience in a catering outlet is desirable but not essential as on the job training will be provided!

⦁    Customer focused and a good communicator

⦁    Excellent team player

⦁    DBS required
